My Name is Jason Culley. Ive have been a student of Wing Chun for 12 yrs under Sifu Bob Stevenson in Canada.. Our lineage is: Yip MAn/ Leung Sheung/ Paul Lam/ Bob Stevenson/ Me
Our Wing Chun is very aggressive and is identical to the Wing Chun that Yip Man taught. Fast and hard Lap sau and Chi Sau that incorporates push/pull theory. We pride ourselves on Lineage preservation. By only having 2 people between Yip Man and us in our family tree, our system is not watered down at all.. In fact our Sifu has old black and white video tapes of our lineage and our training style has not changed at all.. It is very important to know how far off of the true Yip Man teaching you are... There are some VERY different Wing Chun/Wing Tsun/Ving Tsun styles out there.. WHY are they so different? Without getting into the whole Leung Ting Copy write/ cash cow conversation, there is a lot to discuss about why things have changed so much... Please use this discussion board to compare, discuss ideas and meet fellow Sihings across the world.. We are all one and Wing Chun has given us an instant Rapport. So let us speak and be heard.. I was just wondering the name of Sifu Bob Stevenson's school in Nanaimo? I will be moving there shortly and from what I have heard of Sifu Bob, he sounds like an amazing Sifu!
