UFC 143: Nick Diaz tests positive for Marijuana Metabolites

For the second time in his MMA career, Nick Diaz has tested positive for marijuana.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission earlier confirmed that someone from this past Saturday’s UFC 143 event in Las Vegas has tested positive for a banned substance, but would not confirm who it was or what drug they tested positive for until later today.
“Thank you for the many email and phone calls. I am still waiting for all the steroid and drug test results to come back. We did have at least one positive test. I will send out an email later today on that matter,” NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer said in an email.
Well the news has come in and Nick Diaz tested positive for marijuana metabolites. A complaint for disciplinary action has been filed against Diaz.
Diaz first tested positive for the PRIDE 33 event against Takanori Gomi. Turning his submission victory into a no contest.
No wonder Diaz wanted to take some time off. He will not have much of a choice at this point. Enjoy your vacation homie.
